Fun Slides Carpet Skatepark is Under New Management
We are excited to announce that Fun Slides Carpet Skatepark has been saved, and we are re-opening under new management on October 23rd! The Swack Business Group is a Pittsburgh based entrepreneurship group which is family owned and operated. Owners Jeff Swackhammer Sr, Jeff Swackhammer Jr and Tim Swackhammer are all Pittsburgh natives who wanted to stop another neighborhood family entertainment center from closing.
“I remember growing up in Pittsburgh and spending time at many of the local family fun centers like Wildwood Highlands. It is a shame that many of these places are not around anymore, and I want to make sure that my kids have a safe and fun place to play and have birthday parties just like I did as a kid.”
With the previous closing of Fun Slides, we wanted to make sure that the children of our community would still have a fun and safe place to play.
To make sure that we open with the best possible safety precautions, we have reviewed the best methods to protect our customers and employees. Based on the COVID-19 Survey we asked people to fill out, active monitoring of real-time developments and looking to experts such as the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania (local government) we have implemented our COVID-19 polices.
